River queen premiere in japan

Colleen and I went to the 'River Queen ' premiere last week.
There was a special screening at the oribe hall in Ropongi.
Most people there were from the NZ Embassy in Japan,nice people.
So before the movie Vincent Ward,Toa Fraser and Temuera Morrison
gave a speech about the movie.

Temuera was very good at speaking publicly and also he spoke very slowly so the Japanese in the audience could understand better.

Then after their speech was a special performance by the Maori Culture group in japan.













That was pretty cool and they were all fluent in Japanese too.

then it was time to watch the movie.i enjoyed it.it is very beautiful and is filmed on the Wanganui river.Colleens brother is in it too,he is one of the Warriors fighting on the British side wearing a red jacket with feathers in his hair.
It was a good story.

then after the movie we got to meet Temuera!!!
